How a user appears to the data endpoint will depend on the authentication method:
- For users connecting with native data endpoint credentials, they will simply appear to the data endpoint as the repository user with those credentials.
- For users connecting through SSO, the data endpoint will see the native data repository user account that you have mapped to the SSO user's group in the identity service, such as Okta. You configure this mapping in your secrets manager.
